The AQUA CREST Inline Water Filter is available in two variants: a 1/4" model for refrigerators, ice makers, and RVs, and a 3/8" model for under-sink applications, RVs, and bathrooms. Both versions offer impressive service lives, with the 1/4" filter capable of treating up to 10,000 gallons and the 3/8" filter handling up to 5,000 gallons.
Constructed with premium materials, the filters employ a coconut shell carbon block (1/4" model) or a combination of granular activated carbon and KDF (3/8" model) to effectively reduce a range of contaminants. These include chlorine, taste and odor, rust, suspended solids, colloids, and even heavy metals and bacteria.
Connecting the AQUA CREST Inline Water Filter to a refrigerator is a straightforward process. The filter can be conveniently placed in various locations, such as behind the refrigerator, the ice maker, under the sink, or within a cabinet. Additionally, it can be used as a pre-filter to extend the lifespan of the refrigerator's built-in water filter by removing small particles, dust, sand, and chlorine gas.
To ensure a smooth and consistent water flow from the refrigerator, the filter's bypass feature can be utilized if a slow flow rate is encountered.
The versatility of the AQUA CREST Inline Water Filter extends beyond refrigerators, as it can be used in a wide range of applications, including coffee makers, drinking water fountains, water coolers, beverage equipment, sink faucets, RVs, campers, boats, and reverse osmosis (RO) systems. The filter is compatible with most major refrigerator filter brands, such as Samsung, GE, LG, Whirlpool, and Frigidaire.
For a seamless installation, the filter comes with both 1/4" compression and push-to-connect fittings, allowing users to easily connect it to plastic or copper water lines without the need for cutting the tubing. To prevent water leakage, it is recommended to insert the PE tube into the filter cartridge for a distance of 20mm.
